Hailey – Office Manager
Hailey, our office manager, has over 12 years’ experience as an executive assistant supporting Fortune 500 companies. She earned her degree in Hospitality Management and Business Administration from East Carolina University. She joined our Team in 2020.
Her goal is to help each patient understand their dental benefit and finance needs and make sure they feel confident in their care. She is always happy to answer questions, schedule appointments, and help to resolve concerns to make visits positive. “It is important to me that each of our patients enjoy a feeling of ease and confidence in our office,” she says.
Why does Hailey like working at our office? She says, “I enjoy working here because Dr. Gallian has created a warm and inviting atmosphere where everyone feels like family.”
Hailey was born in Maryland and grew up in the DMV area. When she’s not helping patients, Hailey loves spending time with her family traveling, hiking and enjoying live music. Her two kids keep her on her toes and though she also loves cooking for her family, Hailey adds, “I leave the baking to my husband!”
Donna – Registered Dental Hygienist
As a northern Virginia native, Donna finds herself right at home Sensational Smiles. We have been lucky to have her as a part of our team since 2018. She is a graduate of West Liberty University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene.
Donna enjoys creating a bond with our patients and building lasting relationships. Our patients know that they can trust her with their smile. “I have a cheerful disposition and go out of my way to put my patients at ease”, Donna said. “I take my time to explain aspects of oral hygiene and dental care. This helps to both improve their oral hygiene and it decreases dental anxiety.”
When we asked Donna what she enjoys most about working for Dr. Mary-Stuart Gallian, she said simply, “My coworkers are truly like a family and we make a great team!”
When she’s not working with patients in the office, Donna keeps active. She is married with three lively children. She likes to run and she enjoys sports – especially rooting for her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.
Pen- Registered Dental Hygienist
Pen, originally from Thailand, moved to northern Virginia in 1995. She joined our team originally in 2008. She earned her degree in dental hygiene from Northern Virginia Community College, and an MBA from Johnson and Wales University.
Pen loves getting to know, interact with, and help our patients achieve optimal oral health. When they come in, she makes sure they are comfortable and works to develop a good relationship where they can talk about anything.
When she was asked, Pen said that she loves working for Dr. Mary-Stuart Gallian because our team is like a family. She said, “Everyone is so nice and welcoming and it is a great community to be a part of.”
Pen is a mother of two. When she’s at home, she loves to bake and try out new recipes with her kids.

Christine – Dental Assistant
A most important member of our team, Christine is our dental assisting hero who has over 30 years of experience. She joined our team in 2010. She earned her Degree in Dental Assisting at Coastal Carolina Community College and is a recipient of the Clinical Achievement Award.
Christine enjoys getting to know our patients and educating them about the dental care they are receiving. She says that she prides herself in helping them feel at ease, “My goal is to make patients feel as comfortable as possible in our dental office.”
Christine’s positive attitude and happy demeanor are why our team love her. Her willingness to help patients understand the details of their dental procedure are why out patients love Christine. She is excellent at sharing her knowledge with our patients to help out during the recovery process and helps patients understand how to care for their dental restorations long term.
When we asked her why she liked working for Dr. Mary-Stuart Gallian, Christine said, “We have a great team and a fabulous boss!”
Christine was born in Fairfax Virginia, and grew up in Africa, England, and Pakistan. She has an adult daughter and two cats. Christine enjoys visiting museums, experiencing wine tastings, and attending music festivals.
